Pool Lifeguard course gives the necessary skills to be a professional pool lifeguard. Topics include how to supervise an aquatic environment, water rescue techniques, CPR, administering oxygen, providing first aid and emergency care, operating an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) in an emergency situation. Participants will require a high level of aquatic fitness and swimming ability in order to successfully complete the course as it involves various practical swimming assessments, water rescues, lifts and carries, spinal management and responding to emergencies.
Aquatic Training School has 8 Internationally qualified Royal Lifesaving Facilitators who can deliver up to date courses in Pool Lifeguarding. Our course is run under the international standard by Royal Lifesaving Australia.
